1970s Engraved Large Carnelian 9ct Yellow Gold Signet Ring

This is a true statement piece, the streamline engraved tapered shoulders direct viewers’ attention to the centre reddish brown Carnelian. When on the finger she measures 20.5mm at the widest point and tapered into a comfortable smooth D-shape plain band towards the back.

Commonly known as the “gentleman’s ring”, the signet ring is traditionally seen as a symbol of family heritage. Now, signet rings are worn by men and women who wish to exhibit style, or a sentimental connection with something or someone. 

The engraved pattern remains to the most seen face of the ring surrounding the Carnelian measures 20mm high x 15mm wide. Hallmarked by London Assay Office as 9ct Gold, with sponsor’s mark RJ and date letter A for 1975.
