Description
A bright and lively half hoop style Victorian Diamond Engagement Ring features five graduated cut principal Diamonds with small diamond accents in between. The principal Diamonds are old mine cut, and the diamond accents are mostly rose cuts. Old cut diamond rings are highly sought after, the diamonds tend to have a higher crown and larger culet.
Mounted on 18ct Yellow Gold, the old cut principal diamonds ranged from 5mm to 3.3mm and the eight diamond accents are approximately 1.1mm each, estimated total diamond weight is 1.42 Carats. The Diamonds are excellent colour and clarity with lots of fire and sparkle, great presence when worn. Assessed diamond clarity is SI and colour H-I for principal diamonds.
Marked 18 for 18ct gold and tests as such. Perfect for stacking or worn alone, she is ideal as an engagement ring or to commemorate a significant life event. Old English engravings to the inside of the ring, a testament to its history and origin.
