Two hundred and five sparkling brilliant cut natural diamonds (4.0 carats) have been expertly matched to form this classic line or tennis necklace. This elegant design is known as a riviere or river of diamonds, it gained popularity in the mid-18th-century, a symbol of wealth and status.
The diamonds are securely claw set into buttery shade 18ct yellow gold, forming this truly classic piece of jewellery. Assessed diamond clarity is SI, colour G-H. They range from 1.9mm to 1.6mm in diameter each.
Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office as 18ct Gold, with Sponsor mark G and date letter U for 2019. She is in excellent preowned condition, a wonderful piece to add to your collection. Comes with gift presentation packaging.
