Edwardian 1906 Australian Opal and Old Mine Cut Diamond 18ct Yellow Gold Ring

Dates back to the Edwardian era, this genuine Opal and Diamond ring has all the antique charm you need! Embedded in a scroll design setting. the centre natural Opal cabochon is accompanied by two natural old mine cut Diamonds one to each side.

Mounted on comfortable D-shape shank, this good quality Opal cabochon from Australia has a mesmerizing appearance, with strong and intense flashes of rainbow colours included red, green, yellow, orange, and purple. It measures 3mm in diameter (0.08ct), so lively and colourful! The multi-coloured flashes can be observed from various angles. The two old-cut Diamonds range from 2.3mm to 2mm in diameter, estimated total diamond weight is 0.09ct. They are of great presence, very lively and eye clean. 

Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office as 18ct gold, with Sponsor Mark H&S and date letter g for 1906 (date letter is partly rubbed). There is an engraving F.G.M inside the shank. In excellent condition, the gemstones are held securely, a small nick to the outer edge of the opal but not noticeable when worn. Comes with gift presentation packaging.
