Description
This vintage target ring is made with Sapphires and Diamonds and set in elegant 18CT Yellow Gold. The centre blue Sapphire is surrounded by brilliant cut colourless Diamonds, and further encircled by brilliant cut blue Sapphires. Estimated total gemstone carat weight is 0.59ct (0.54ct for Sapphire and 0.05ct for Diamond).
Mounted on split shank, the ring head is set close to the finger, making this ring a wonderful engagement ring that blends into daily activities easily. Hallmarked by Sheffield Assay Office as 18ct gold, with Sponsor Mark JSG and date letter V for 1995.
Developed during the Edwardian period, target rings are highly desirable and remarkably eye-catching. They feature concentric circles, beautifully blending cluster ring and solitaire ring in one.
