Description
Dates back to the 1960s, this chunky and hefty bold signet ring features a large oval shape natural Bloodstone tablet in secure bezel set. Crafted in solid 9ct Yellow Gold, the streamlined tapered shoulders lead into a comfortable and solid D-shape plain band towards the back.
This Bloodstone has a beautiful dark green body-colour with mottled texture, and red spots that resemble spots of blood (hence the name Bloodstone). It measures 14.5mm height by 12.5mm wide. Bloodstone is a popular gemstone in jewellery in Victorian era, it symbolises courage and vitality.
When worn on the finger she measures a wide 17mm at the widest point. The ring head is set close to the finger, the flush setting design blends into daily activities easily.
Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office as 9ct Gold, with Sponsor Mark NBs and date letter u for 1969. In excellent preowned condition, ready to be worn or to gift. Small sign of wear included scratches on the bloodstone commensurate with age.
