Commonly known as the “gentleman’s ring”, the signet ring is traditionally seen as a symbol of family heritage. Now, signet rings are worn by men and women who wish to exhibit style, or a sentimental connection with something or someone.
This classic and easy to wear mens signet ring has a large ring face, it features a large oval shape black Onyx in secure bezel set, set in solid 9CT Yellow Gold. The setting is solid and sound.
Mounted on tapered shoulders, the Black Onyx measures 15.7mm height x 13.6mm width. The streamline tapered shoulders direct viewers’ attention to the centre black Onyx, this ring is striking, bold, and beautiful.
When worn on the finger she measures 17.5mm at the widest point, and leads into a comfortable D-shape plain band towards the back. She has British Hallmarks, Gold Standard Mark, 375 (Gold Fineness Mark), London, and date letter D for 1978. She is also marked SJ.
The flush bezel setting secures the gemstone and makes it a great choice for daily wear. She has been professionally inspected and is in excellent condition. Slight wear to the Black Onyx expected due to age but this is not noticeable when wearing. She is currently a finger size T1/2 (UK) or 10 (US) but can be sized.
