Description

Snake or serpent is one of the oldest and most widespread mythological motif in jewellery, it symbolises transformation, rebirth and immortality.

This substantial vintage gold snake ring was designed so that the snake curves and wraps itself around the finger, with textured lined design band. Crafted in buttery shade 18ct Yellow Gold, the snake is wonderfully depicted, resembles a snake sits patiently waiting to strike.

The snake eyes are pinkish red natural rubies (estimated total 0.03ct - 1.6mm in diameter each). The snake head is fully embellished with 14 natural sparkling diamonds, each measured approximately 1.6mm in diameter, estimated total diamond weight is 0.27ct. 

She has British hallmarks, with sponsor mark EJCO, 750, London Import Mark, Common Control Mark, and date letter H for 1982. In excellent condition, very small wear commensurate with age. With gift presentation packaging.
