Vintage 1970s Bloodstone 9ct Yellow Gold Oval Signet Ring

This solid gold signet ring features an oval shape natural Bloodstone tablet in secure bezel set. Crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold, the smooth and streamlined shoulders direct viewers attention to the centre Bloodstone and lead into a plain flat band towards the back.

This Bloodstone has a beautiful dark green body-colour with red patches that resemble spots of blood (hence the name Bloodstone). It measures 12mm x 10mm. Bloodstone is a popular gemstone in jewellery in Victorian era, it symbolises courage and vitality.

Hallmarked by Birmingham Assay Office as 9ct Gold with sponsor mark WW&S and date letter D for 1978. This ring is comfortable to wear, it has been restored to the best possible condition, with gift presentation packaging.
