Edwardian Old European Cut Yellow Sapphire and Diamond 18ct Yellow Gold Brooch Boxed (3.09cts)

Circa 1910, this harmonious and elegant Edwardian era brooch is embellished with natural old European cut yellow Sapphires and white Diamonds, all set in a flower motif design.

There are 6 beautiful sunshine yellow Sapphires (estimated total carat weight is 3.03cts), they range from 4.5mm to 5.2mm in diameter each. Additional 4 small natural Diamonds to add sparkle (estimated total diamond weight is 0.06ct, 1.5mm in diameter each). The Sapphires are old European cut, they are eye-clean, bright and of great presence! Old cut gemstones are well sought after, they were hand cut so each one is unique and this gives them that extra charm.

There is no marking, the brooch tests as 18ct gold whereas the pin tests as 14ct gold. The gemstones are held securely, no damage at all. With the display presentation box.
